Judge Graf's "Gag order" Protection Order Re: Pre-Trial and Trial Publicity, Case No. 251403576 does NOT gag podcasters or the public. This gag order, in pertinent part says:

"This protection order applies to lawyers who are not participating in the investigation, or litigation of this case, but who are associated with the Utah County Attorney's Office or associated with defense counsel's firm or firms. Court staff is also ordered not to make public statements that would violate the provisions of this order.

This order does not prohibit lawyers from making statements permitted by Rule 3.6."

Websites and Podcasters engage in confirmation bias

Literally every Charlie Kirk-related podcaster is yelling at the top of their lungs: YOU WON'T SILENCE ME!

If they read the actual order they would see that it does not apply to them at all.

However, it is understandable that they haven't read the order as the media seems to have gone out of their way from broadly distributing any document link.
